Our mission at Bert and Ernie’s Preschool is to provide children with the best educational and social experience possible. To accomplish this, we maintain low child-teacher ratios to allow our dedicated and compassionate teachers to provide meaningful interactions with every child. Our staff fosters children’s creativity and imagination while teaching social skills and problem-solving. Bert and Ernie’s Preschool offers a flexible yet predictable environment that focuses on positivity and choices to create a nurturing and respectful community for all children and families!

The History of Bert & Ernie's
Bert & Ernie's founded as an in-home preschool in Davis.
Transitioned to a center-based preschool in Davis serving 20 children.
Relocated the center to its current location in Dixon to meet the needs within the community for quality childcare.
Infant/Toddler program established as currently enrolled families were growing their families and wanted their children at the same location with the same warm, nurturing and supportive environment they loved.
Infant/Toddler program expanded into two separate classrooms; Afterschool program established to meet the increasing demand from families to have continuous care for their children.
Grant money went into school-wide renovations (paint, lighting, new windows, new playground equipment, new appliances.)
We continue to exceed expectations as we continue learning and growing while supporting our local community! Welcome!
